The Centre of Excellence has woken up to the state’s tourism potential after an impressive 2024.

The vibrant city has once again proven its status as Nigeria’s entertainment capital with an unforgettable end to 2024, captivating both locals and international visitors.

Lagos’ Unparalleled Festivities

The end-of-the-year show kicked off with the Rising Tour, which featured an array of exciting activities, including the Street Souk and the Culturati Festival. According to the Governor’s Adviser on Tourism and Arts, Idris Aregbe, per Lagosdaily, “This is the start of a transformative era for tourism.” The city is poised to establish itself as the home of Yuletide fun, promising even more explosive experiences in the years to come.

As the month drew to a close, Nigeria’s entertainment capital prepared for its grand finale with the Light Up event on New Year’s Eve. This spectacular celebration featured fireworks illuminating iconic landmarks and musical performances that promised to make it a night to remember.
